Gazprom JV recalls suit on Linde assets arrest
MOSCOW, Dec 12 (PRIME) -- RusKhimAlyans, a joint venture between Gazprom and RusGazDobycha, has withdrawn a lawsuit with a demand to arrest the assets of German engineering company Linde from the St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region Arbitration Court, according to the court documents seen by PRIME on Monday.
The reason for claim withdrawal was not disclosed.
On November 30, the Russian company asked to arrest assets of Linde Gmbh totaling more than 5% of all assets of the company by book value.
Linde will suspend development of new projects in Russia, the company said in March. Business daily Kommersant said in June that the company might leave construction of a 19.5 million tonne liquefied natural gas plant of RusGazDobycha and Gazprom in Ust-Luga.
